A special thank you goes to Dr. Sotiriou for hosting me last week. He gave me the opportunity to introduce his students to my narrative. I did a special reading presentation of Deep Blue Giant for one of his English writing classes.

It was great experience for me. Dr. Sotiriou also offered some detailed commentary and even shared his thoughts of the material. Which, I believe it really helped bring things of significance to the surface and offered his students a perspective on the value of having a unique, fresh writing style.

Dr. Sotiriou takes pride in breaking down literature with his classes, challenging his students to read between the lines and offer diverse outlooks about the stories he introduces to them. I'll share you a portion of his statement from my reading:

"MJ Glover presented an inspired reading of Deep Blue Giant to my English course at Los Angeles City College. Students received it very well, and asked provocative questions after his reading. I heard a polished narrative prose from MJ and a story that was heart felt and honest. Deep Blue Giant will touch many college students' hearts and minds".
